Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data My Compiler collects, how we use it and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the service. If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password (via Supabase Auth). If you press Save, we store the code you saved, its language and a title. Our servers also receive technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.

2. Cookies

We use cookies for essential functions: your interface language and, when you are logged in, your sign-in session. Advertising partners may set additional cookies as described in the Ads section. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may stop working.

3. Local Storage

Your browser's local storage keeps your light or dark theme choice. The code editor is not saved between visits: refreshing the page resets it. Code is stored on our servers only when you are logged in and press Save.

4. Compiler Usage

When you press Run, your source code and any input are sent to our server and forwarded to a Judge0 sandbox for execution, and the result is returned to you. We do not store executed code unless you save it. SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML and Markdown run in your browser. Do not enter passwords, personal data or other confidential information in the editor.

5. Analytics

We may use aggregated analytics to measure traffic, performance and errors, for example page views, device type and approximate country. Analytics data never includes the code you write or run and is not used to identify you personally.

6. Ads

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. Where required, such as in the EEA and the UK, ads are personalised only with your consent.

7. Third-party Services

We rely on trusted providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (authentication and database), Judge0 (code execution), Google AdSense (advertising) and public CDNs such as jsDelivr and cdnjs (open-source libraries and language icons). These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

8. Data Security

We use HTTPS, row-level security so each user can only read their own saved code, and hashed passwords. Code runs in isolated sandboxes with no access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. User Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@mycompiler.online. We respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

My Compiler is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
